How to know it is me:

You will find a graying 60 year old guy in excellent condition for his age. I will have a collapsible home made selling box that is masking taped together and is made out of black corrugated plastic. It will ALWAYS have some form of Mexican peanut in it, that is in clear bags that have no labels and were filled and taped by me.

I will have an old school mountain bike I bought at a pawn shop, and It is a very unique and unrepeatable bike. I am not going to put my photo online here, but the bike is SO unique there's no way they will repeat it.

First of all, it was painted over in all red, and it was done so poorly that you can see the original paint job. Through the red paint you can see what the bike was originally.

This mountain bike has all of it's original parts, which should be impossible to find. The make of the bike is Marin. The model of the bike is Palisades lane UPDATE, all I can find online is Palisades Trail, which looks identical when it is from the 80s, and it could be that because the text is messed up on both sides. It is steel frame 80's The rims are the original aluminum rims, and they say ARAYA, made in Japan. The front and rear quick release hubs are also aluminum, and they say EXAGE. The rear gear set is cassette. The brakes are center pull brakes and they are the old school totally top quality Shimano with quick release. KEY: these brakes are ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE because rather than have the cable simply terminate at the brake and "hope for the best," (which leads to unpredictable performance,) these center pull brakes have a handle bar mounted pulley and it's the original MARIN handle bar that says Marin on it. I never saw such a pulley on a bike before, and the brakes, despite being from the time of the Pharoaes, work absolutely perfect. The derailler is an old school mostly metal Shimano Acera. The modern Acera has an all plastic body, on this acera where it says Acera it is metal.

ONCE ON THE BIKE, I WILL HAVE YOU FOLLOW ME,

And I will be able to go as fast as full speed unimpeded city traffic on a through street. The speeds I can hit on that bike seem impossible, there's no way anyone could go as fast as I do on a mountain bike, "they" will never come up with someone my age that could ever do it. Since I go that speed, I blow traffic away because you can just go right by all the cars when they stop and always be up front. Once I take off, even on 30MPH streets and up, the cars never catch up to me. On most hills in Morelia, even if they look steep, I will exceed the speed of traffic going up them, even without a head start. Expect that level of physique or it is not me. FAT CHANCE they will find an old fart that could ever do that. I am still prime, like in my 20's and when I was in my earlyt 40s I went from the center of Toronto all the way to the capitol building in Ottawa in ONE DAY, during daylight on a Raleigh Portage. That's tour de france performance. It's not impossible, Lance Armstrong could do more though the bike would probably eat him a little.

CAVEAT: A lot of the streets in Morelia are TERRIBLE, and when they are bumpy, I cannot go fast because the ride is simply too rough. The speed I mentioned is for good condition concrete.

So if you don't find that, it is not me.

I was FURIOUS when I saw the impostor this morning, he was not one of the usual sellers, he looked passable as me if you did not know me, but he was too young. They tried, hopefully people will read this before being fooled. If he is at Star Medica tomorrow, (or any one else approximate is) I will confront.

The reason why I have a bike that goes that fast is because I am constantly being stalked and it is FACT that the absolute hardest thing to tail is a fast bicycle with an athletic rider. I can blow lights, squeeze by cars, take the side walk, go the wrong way on one ways, and out run whatever twit they send after me on a bike. Me getting that bike was no accident, I knew it would be a wicked one despite it looking like crap. I got it for $40.

After looking it up, it appears to me that I by chance bought an old school high end bike. Perfect. I knew the Acera derailler and exage parts were good but on something that old, that could have been happenstance. It was not.
